Beatles Films on Dvd

Over the years there have been several Dvd releases of the beatles Films.

A Hard Days Night is at present the only one that is always available and is an excellent quality package.

Help, Yellow Submarine and Magical Mystery Tour strangely enough have been out of print for a while.

Help! will be re-released on Dvd in October!

Luxury packaging includes a 60 page hard-backed book with rarely seen photographs and production notes from the movie, a newly written introduction by director Richard Lester and an appreciation piece by Martin Scorsese, plus 8 lobby cards, a poster, and a reproduction of the original annotated script, all housed in a deluxe, custom-made box.

Let it be has never been officially released on dvd only on video in the early 1980's only to be withdrawn by George Harrison who considered it to be of poor quality.

In a recent 2007 inteview with Neil aspinall the Beatles Road Manager and manager of Apple Corps he said that Let it be had been digitally remastered however the film still seemed controversal so it may be a while before it is finally released on dvd.

With all things considered it is still a very interesting film and should be released for the superb music content alone.

Everyone knows it is a film of the beatles breaking up so really there should be no reason not to release it.
